Scheuten develops new corporate identity
On 4 September, Scheuten will be introducing its new corporate identity at the ‘European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition’ in Dresden. The manufacturer from Venlo, the Netherlands, wants to present its two product divisions, Glass and Solar, more clearly as a single whole. The new slogan will be 'see it. feel it'.
Scheuten, established in 1950, has a leading position in both the solar and the glass sectors, and employs around 1000 people in various countries. The annual turnover is over 200 million euros. The company wants to expand its position further in the future. According to CEO Leon Giesen, "Tradition is important, but you have to dare to innovate as well. The new corporate identity is an important step towards strengthening Scheuten further."
The two divisions, Solar and Glass, are being integrated, which is symbolised by the new brand name: ‘Solar│Glass Scheuten’. The new logo evokes associations with warmth, safety, the world and connection. The integration of the company is geared towards strengthening innovation and the brand. In this context, Scheuten has formulated a clear mission statement: ‘Scheuten is a company run by people, for people. We connect solar and glass to innovative concepts. We give energy, sustainability, growth and life to our customers and the world.’
The corporate image operation requires changes throughout the organisation. For this reason, the switchover will take place in phases. We will be more than happy to keep you notified in the future of further developments regarding the Scheuten brand.
