Welcome to the information page on CE marking of our glass products. The CE mark shows that glass produced and supplied by us meets the underlying European Standards. Every product group has its own EU standard, with various requirements as to:
1. the quality system adopted
2. initial product testing by a recognized Notified Testing Body
3. external inspection by a recognized Notified Certification Body

The CE mark on the product sticker enables us to state as producers that the product in question meets the requirements laid down in the underlying European Standard. The information which we are required to give the customer under CE legislation can be found on this website. Per product group, two documents may be downloaded as a pdf file:

1. 'Products': this document contains the declared product values
2. 'Declaration': this document contains the declaration that the products comply with the CE regulations.

AoC-1 certified product groups
Glass with intended uses fire resistance, bullet resistance or explosion resistance are classified as “Attestation of Conformity level 1 (AoC-1)” products. This means that besides the regular productcertification, the manufacturers production process itself must be certified by a Notified Certification Body. Scheuten Glass has contracted TÜV Rheinland BV for these CE-certifications (Cert. Body no. 0336). _______________________________________________________________________________
