ACCOUNT MANAGER

Scheuten Glass has an existing float participation in Belgium and a brand new float glass factory in Germany (Osterweddingen/ Sachsen-Anhalt). The new factory is operational since September 2009. To complement our product portfolio the factory specifically focuses on the manufacture of low-iron float, solar glass, laminated, low-e and solar control raw materials.

The job: You will be responsible for turnover, margin (sales), new business development and account management activities within Germany, the Czech Republic and (partly) Poland based on: value for the customer – value for the company – achievability for the company. You will serve as the primary business contact for the customer and you will be responsible for customer satisfaction within sales of our complete product Portfolio as mentioned above. Your focus will be on Low-Iron float (High transmission glazing) and a number of business development projects. Partly you can develop your own business plan with a strong lead to market developments and trends. You will be required to provide regular activity reports and communicate market trends, opportunities en threats. You report to the Sales Manager in the Netherlands and you will be stationed in Osterweddingen.

Your profile: You have the ability to gain strong relationships and influence people with your sales techniques - are a self starter with excellent account management experience and a good sales track record of success – have a strong personality -have international experience and excellent communication skills with a minimum of German and English, Baltic languages are preferred – have a Higher Technical Education level, with additional education in Sales and/or Marketing. Knowledge of and experience in the glass industry or related industries are preferred. We believe that the right personality is a driven team player with entrepreneurial mentality.
