Her Majesty the Queen opened the fully renovated Maas Bridge in Venloo on Wednesday 2 May 2007. Scheuten developed and manufactured the glass used in the railings.

The Maas Bridge has been completely transformed. Four monumental statues by the artist Shinkichi Tajiri were unveiled on both sides of the Maas Bridge. Multisafe Design was used on the bridge railings, laminated glass with extra clear tempered glass with seven specially designed screen prints. These are illuminated by the Lagotronics BV LED lighting that is incorporated in the bridge railings.
