Scheuten Projects project 4th Gymnasium in Amsterdam wins public award for the Dutch Building Prize 2017!
The 4th Gymnasium of Paul de Ruiter Architects is the first energy-neutral gymnasium in Amsterdam. The jury, who loves the energy ambitions, is brief and concise in her comment: "It is a new generation of educational buildings. An inviting climate for children who want to work on their future. "
In cooperation with Blitta Gevelsystemen, Scheuten provided triple insulation glass, partly with a HR 1.1 window and partly with a solar control outdoor window. Furthermore, fire proof glass has been incorporated. Eventually it is the colored facade that characterizes and stands out of the building.
