Solar control insulated glazing being integrated into atrium and new outpatients’ building.

Scheuten, specializing in the development and production of high-quality glass products, is to supply more than 1,600 m² of solar control insulated glazing for the new and renovated buildings of the TweeSteden hospital in Tilburg. Glass plays a prominent role in the design of the entrance hall by Hooper Architects as well as the new outpatients’ building which follows the design of Wiegerinck Architecten. For the purposes of the entrance hall, Scheuten is producing glass elements that span the full height of a storey. Scheuten is supplying the glass by order of façade construction firm AKS Bouw BV. BAM Utiliteitsbouw is the primary
contractor for the project, which will be delivered in its entirety in the spring of 2013.
