WINNER GLASS AWARD 2010

The completely renovated building of the Ministry of Finance in The Hague was fully adapted to satisfy modern requirements, with glass playing a key role!

Glued fin structures
Behind the glass facade and under the glass roof of the conservatory of the renovated Ministry of Finance in The Hague glass fins were installed as a supporting structure. Each fin is composed of two-layer or three-layer glass glued into a steel framework. In conjunction with its partners, Scheuten Projects Venlo developed, tested and installed the 21-metre-high fins behind the glass facades that comprised two-layer, tempered glazing.
