Scheuten recently received the ISO 14001 certificate from TÜV Nord, which confirms that Scheuten is characterized by professional procedures and processes in the field of the environment, corporate social responsibility and sustainability. ISO 14001 is a standardized standard for environmental management systems with the aim of continuously improving the company's environmental performance. Scheuten considers sustainability very important and therefore sets high standards for itself in this area, which has now been confirmed with the ISO 14001 certificate. Scheuten is already certified for the quality and safety standards of ISO 9001 and recently obtained the AluEco Partner certificate as well.
Ruud Geerlings, CCO at Scheuten and project leader of the ISO 14001 certification: "Our product range of modern insulation glass solutions makes a very significant contribution to the reduction of CO2 emissions in buildings. We consider it self-evident to elaborate this into the production itself and operational management in general to take our responsibility in the field of sustainability and the responsible use of our living environment. We therefore see this certification as proof of compliance with this vision. Also for our customers and suppliers, and therefore for the entire construction chain, sustainability has become an increasingly important topic. Scheuten has already been on the right track for much longer, as we have regularly reported in our social media channels with #scheutenduurzaam for a while now. But with the achievement of ISO 14001 and recently the AluEco Partner certificate, our customers and suppliers now have been provided with the proof that we give the environment the attention it deserves.”
